Joan begins her real estate career and, with her husband, founds her own brokerage — West Royalty Real Estate. When Coldwell Banker enters the Utah market, the firm is acquired, and Joan's rise onto the national stage begins.
The Salt Lake Board of REALTORS® names Joan Salesperson of the Year — "for outstanding achievement in residential real estate sales and service, for her contributions to the community, and for her high regard for the ethics of her profession." The engraved bronze portrait says it all: she's been setting the standard since the 70s.
Out of every sales associate in the country, Joan is named America's Best — the #1 Sales Associate nationwide. The award: a solid brass map of the United States with a number one over it. There is no higher recognition in the field.
Joan earns the first of her bronze eagles: International Top Ten Sales Associate for Listings Sold — ranked against agents across the entire international network, not just Utah.
